Nik Hoback
is so excited to be back with OPS. With a love of Shakespeare that started in the 6th grade, this is exactly what he always wanted to do, but never dreamed it would be in a style like this. Last year he fulfilled a life-long dream of playing the role of Pucke, with the added bonus of Lysander, Demetrius, and Flute with OPS Fest's A Midsommer Night's Dreame. After receiving his B.A. in theater from Whitworth University in Spokane, Nik has found a new home in Portland and its theater community. He has had the privilege of working with Classic Greek Theater of Oregon, Action/Adventure's Fall of the House, Two world premiere adaptations of Shakespeare with Bag & Baggage Productions, Masque Alfresco, and is a member of Fuse Ensemble. "Bards do it for the party."

Some of her most memorable roles include signing the part of the Queen and voicing the part of D’artagnan in The Three Musketeers (Seattle Children’s Theatre Deaf Youth Program), and the part or Ursula in a ASL/English production (New Blue Parrot). She estimates she has performed in over 600 shows over the years, none of them scripted. In fact, the last scripted show she performed in was as Olivia in Twelfth Night with Acme Theater Company in Davis, California 15 years ago. She thinks it is fitting Shakespeare is once again showing her the joy of the written word. A graduate student, Kerry spends her minimal spare time blues dancing.

In Cambridge Massachusetts Mikki appeared with the American Repertory Theatre in Three Sisters (which was also featured at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland) and Romeo and Juliet. Mikki received her training at Emerson College and with Shakespeare and Co. in Lenox MA. She is presently a board member of the Portland Area Theatre Alliance and is playing Mother in Tim Stapleton's Leaning Into the Everlasting Arms at the IFCC.
