Internships
Opsfest is looking for four actor/tech interns in the summer of 2011. Interns must be 16-22 years of age.

The application deadline is March 15.
Ops Fest is currently one of the only companies in the world performing in the authentic, Elizabethan manner; therefore Ops Fest internships offer unique and valuable opportunities few other companies can provide. Because all performing interns participate as full members of the company and are guaranteed performance roles in the 'main stage' touring shows, only four interns are accepted into the program. An in-person audition is required; videotaped auditions are not accepted.
In addition, interns assist in all areas of production, from publicity to wardrobe. The normal intern schedule is to alternate one performance performing / one or two performances working tech.
The summer 2010 production will tour throughout the Portland Metro Area. Performances are scheduled outdoors at parks and historic sites and also at indoor venues.
Internships are unpaid, though Independent study credit may be available through your high school, college or university. Check with your advisor.
